STYLE NO. 9216: FOREMAN CHUKKA
Inspired by our rugged work boot heritage, Red Wing Shoes’ Foreman Chukkas combine a simple leather boot upper with Red Wing’s durable neoprene sole. The Foreman Chukka is a lightweight, classic-looking shoe that takes our timeless Chukka design and attaches it to our comfortable neoprene work sole. The 9216 features our premium Black Harness leather.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
Traditionally, the foreman is the boss, walking the job site, overseeing quality as he goes. That means a lot of time on his feet and our Foreman Chukka is designed with that in mind. Taking the timeless silhouette of a simple chukka that we’ve made for many years, we fit it with a cushioned neoprene sole for superior shock absorption and traction on varied surfaces.
MATERIALS
OIL-TANNED LEATHER
S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for oil-tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 108+ year history.

SIZING & BREAK IN
In order to build a Red Wing boot to an exact size and width, the boot is constructed around a shoe last.
STYLE NO. 9216: FOREMAN CHUKKA
A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the full grain leather upper, leather footboard and cork midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.
THE 9216 IS BUILT USING THE NO. 210 LAST:
A last is used in shoemaking to give footwear its three-dimensional shape. Resembling the human foot, the last determines critical toe, heel and girth dimensions for fit, style and function.
